I’LL PICK IT UP

Some students of our school, from class IV E, have decided to propose an initiative against the pollution of waste, called by themselves #ioloraccolgo, that means “Iʼll pick it up”, referring to all the rubbish around the school and other places. After asking the teachers for two hours of assembly, they spent their time collecting all the waste from the school structure, from the common halls, the garden to the single classrooms. In the end, they collected about twenty garbage bags. Their goal is to raise awareness not only from other students, but also to catch the attention of the municipality and the province itself,  both for the danger that the waste brings to all of us and for a civil sense that everyone should have. All we can do is to incite and contribute, even with small gestures, to this initiative that will surely change something. Hereʼs the video of the interview our classmates Stefano Tomassi, Marco Trento, Luca Vitaterna and Ida Lucchetti made to Maria Helena Evangelista, Martina Adiutori, Aurora Ricci, Francesca Staccone and Sara Salvatori.
